Animalkind Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non profit organization dedicated to reduce euthanasia of cats and dogs in shelters by humanely addressing the proliferation of stray, feral cats and owned pets in Upstate New York through stray feline rescue, no/low-cost spay/neuter programs for pets of financially distressed pet owners and trap/neuter/return (TNR) for feral cats.
We are thriving to:
- to ensure the compassionate care, treatment, and placement of homeless felines through our adoption center and
- to promote and improve the welfare of all animals through community education and outreach
No feline in need is turned away from Animalkind Inc., and there is no restriction on the length of time that any feline is allowed to remain at the adoption center.
In addition to our primary mission of feline rescue and spay/neuter as a solution to animal overpopulation, Animalkind Inc. conducts many vital programs that benefit the people of our communities, including: pet transport to and from our S/N clinics, a pet-food bank and medical veterinarian assistance program for economically distressed pet owners and an emergency boarding option for pets of community members in need, caused by eviction, domestic violence, jail or other emergency situation. Our goal is to end the overpopulation of homeless animals and to better the quality of life for pets of financially distressed pet owners through solutions, programs and education.
To transform animal welfare by setting higher standards in the way animals are treated and developing a sustainable, solutions-based model and to instill respect and kindness towards each and every life.
