AnimalKind is excited to announce the launch of our Capital Campaign to raise funding for a new shelter and medical facility. Our home on Warren Street has served the animals we have helped and our community members well. In order to continue to provide our services and expand to meet the growing need of low to moderately priced veterinary services, we must relocate. Our new location will be at 4401 Route 23, just a few short miles from our current home. We expect to relocate in Late Spring of 2027. We are excited to see what the future holds for AnimalKind. Please follow our progress on our Capital Campaign Website. We appreciate all who are considering supporting us as we work to raise the funding for our new home and please continue to visit us at 721 Warren Street.

Former Shelter Guests in Their Forever Homes

Rivers has settled in nicely and is part of our family. He wakes up in the morning and is eager to see us as he is when we return home from being out. He is very affectionate and loves to play. We spoil him and he has spoiled us. We love him and are very happy to have him in our home.

Commercial has adapted really well to our home. At first we kept him with a bed, toys, food, water, liter all in our guest room upstairs. He loves scratches right under his chin and his ears. Two days and he was sleeping on top of the bed and venturing out of the room. It’s been almost two months now and Commercial rules the roost.

We adopted all 3 of these kitties on the same day, because they were a bonded pair plus a friend. They adjusted to their new home so quickly and so well, and we've spoiled them rotten from Day One. Truffles and Mr. Biscuits are littermates and they descend like locusts when they know it's time for treats. Cocoa Puff loves her fleece blankets and her catnip rainbow, and she purrs like an engine.
