Things to Consider When Adopting…
Our adoption counselors are very skilled at helping you find the right match for your household. To help them understand your needs better, take a moment to think about these questions before you talk with our counselors:
Do you want a playful kitten , or are you looking for a calm and settled adult animal?
Do you want a lap cat or an independent cat?
Will the pet stay inside or be allowed outdoors?
Do you currently have other pets in your home that your new adoptee should get along with?
How many hours will the pet be left alone?
Do you live in an apartment or a house?
Are there young children in the house?
Can you afford proper care for a pet? Food and veterinary bills.
Do you have the supplies you need before bringing an animal home?
Adopting…NOW!
We will do “same day” adoptions! JUST COME IN! We are open tuesday-sunday 11-3 for adoption “talk” and adoptions.
Not Ready to Commit? Consider Fostering!
We are always in need for foster homes, giving special attention to rescued moms and kittens, under-socialized felines and special need cats/kittens until permanent homes for them are found. Being a foster parent is a very rewarding experience, since you are the path for their new beginning.
AnimalKind is with you ALL the way!
