CALI and GALAXY
Cali aka Galaxy and Salem aka Bernie adopted by Nancy L on February 6, 2022
“Galaxy now known as Cali is amazing! She is so lovable and cuddly and has settled in perfectly with our family and her fur family. We just adore her! Our other boy Bernie, now known as Salem is just as amazing. He brings us so much joy.“
Hello to the wonderful folks at Animal Kind!
It's been about a year since we brought home our little orange lady, and I just wanted to share a quick update (because I've had a stressful week, and this helps!)
Zoey continues to be the best, sweetest, most perfect little orange ball of love in the entire world. She's up to a healthy 11ish lbs, the dermatitis she arrived with has never reappeared after we treated it, and her coat is shiny and beautiful. While she still doesn't drink water from the bowl, she loves her wet food, we supplement hydration however we can (hydrating squeeze treats, cat-safe milk, single ingredient baby food, etc), and she seems healthy and happy.
She LOVES to play and cuddle under a blanket. She spends about half the day lounging on the catio observing the yard, and the other half napping or asking for love and attention. While she and her brother Gargoyle aren't best friends (yet!), they never fight beyond a swipe, and occasionally sleep next to each other, just out of touching range.
Laura and I couldn't be more happy to have little miss ZoZo living with us, and she seems pretty dang happy herself.
Here are a few photos of the little girl in her various elements:“
Raffi
Adopted in May of 2023 by Pat & Karen
“We are thrilled to share how happy Raffi (aka Liza) is in her new forever home. Raffi has adopted us! Our home is pretty quiet but she has several perches to hang out in, an enclosed screened porch to smell the outdoors and enjoy watching chipmunks and squirrels run around. She works pretty hard all day, keeping us safe from mice and insects and has well deserved rests throughout the day. Raffi has gained weight and is healthy and happy. She is endlessly funny, entertaining, and endearing with her acrobatic antics. We appreciate our new family member Raffi every day!”
Pip & Middie
Adopted in June of 2023 by Nicole C.
“Middie has gained weight and is getting so comfortable in the house. Since he's blind he is super scent oriented and with the cerebral hypoplasia he falls like a fainting goat at times but is much more confident getting around the house and will run around so fast when he's excited or playing! He takes his meds and doesn't have seizures so we've been fortunate so far in terms of his hydrocephalus. He is a lot of work between medical needs and diaper duty but he is so worth it! Nothing holds him back, and he is a simple happy-go-lucky cat. He does really well traveling. He's a love!

Pip is doing so well. He's a master insect hunter and a little clown. He is the most unique cat I've ever met and so sweet and gentle with such innocent crazy energy. He is a little tank of a cat that goes limp like a bag of sand when hes picked up. He loves all of his 5 brothers and is so loved in return, especially his brother Middie! Here's an all about Pip:

Molls the Dolls / Miss Molly Dillon (aka Socks)
Adopted in May of 2023 by Amy D.
“Our new love bug is settled in just perfectly. She rules the roost here. We love her so. Our boy Seamus is revitalized with her being here. She’s such a sweet spirit.”
Jinx (aka Rapunzel)
Adopted in April of 2023 by Suzy L.
“She took some time to start warming up to us, but she has really come out of her shell. She talks often, snuggles as much as possible, adores her older brother (our dog, Ghost), is obsessed with salmon Greenies, and loves playing with her catnip toys. She’s really filled out weight wise and has a healthy appetite, and much to her chagrin, she only gets the recommended amount.”
Luca & Nevi (aka Luke & Leia)
Adopted in April of 2023 by Apoorva C.
“Nevi is such a curious cat and so independent, just endless energy. She’ll roam around the house trying to get into every nook. And she has the cutest, most ferocious look that we can’t get enough of. Luca is a complete cuddle bug. He’s a bit more relaxed and likes lazing around but when he gets those zoomies, watch out! And nothing relaxes him more than when Nevi is grooming him. We recently installed a wall tree for them and it’s so interesting to see how they navigate it!”
Ollie (aka Kali)
Adopted on April 22nd, 2023 by Sheila & Bill G.
“We renamed him Ollie, which sounds like Kali. He is thriving. So sweet! Loves his catnip toys and loves to get brushed. He is shy around strangers and will usually hide when we have company. He is healthy and we are blessed to have him in our family!”
Klaus & Yule
Adopted on April 14th, 2023 by Lorinda L.
“Both have settled in very well. They are both very active and loving to each other. They are both very loud talkers and will let you know when it’s time to eat and have their evening snack. They don’t like when company comes over but they have a safe space to go until they feel comfortable for a visit. Klaus is more of a lap kitty than Yule but she will lay next to you. Klaus loves to steal Q-Tips from the trash and Yule loves to rip up tissues. I am so glad that I was able to get both of them together.”
Stella (aka Baby Kitten)
Adopted on March 23rd, 2023 by Melanie M.
“Taking care of a deaf cat isn’t difficult at all. One important fact about caring for a deaf cat is you cannot startle them when they are sleeping. They need to see your hands before you pet them. She’s a true queen and we can’t imagine life without her!“
Tabby & Lou (aka Soduku & Mahjong)
Adopted on January 15, 2023 by Ruth Z.
“They are the happiest, friendliest, and snuggliest cats we could ever imagine. Lou especially loves to be held like a baby :) We love them soooooo much.”
Cherokee
Adopted on January 12, 2023 by Jordan M.
“Cherokee has been doing wonderfully! She definitely owns the house now, as well as my bed.“
Boots & Vega (aka Sugar & Cinnamon)
Adopted on December 30th, 2022 by Tess K.
“They love each other! I am glad I took both!”
Thai & India
Adopted on August 26th, 2022 by Susan S.
“Thai and India were so well cared for prior to adopting them. They bring us so much joy, and have acclimated beautifully to their new home. I’ve never had two cats before, and now understand how beneficial it is to bring home a bonded pair.“
Maverick (aka Landon)
Adopted on August 14, 2022 by Melissa D.
“Maverick is doing great! He’s loving his new sister, he plays with her all the time! He’s super friendly and loves to be pet. He loves to stretch out and roll around, and loves to cuddle right up at night. He’s also goofy and goes crazy for hair ties. He’s such a perfect fit to my family.”
Maya
Adopted on August 8th, 2022 by Miranda D.
“Everything is going great! She’s very vocal, which I love, we’re always chatting. I live near my parents, and they love Maya too, so sometimes I bring her with me to spend the night at their house, and she looooves being there. She snuggles them and they give her treats! But I’m so grateful she picked me. We think she looks like a werewolf sometimes so I call her my little lycan :)”
Cali & Salem
(aka Galaxy & Bernie)
Adopted on February 6th, 2022 by Nancy L.
“Galaxy now known as Cali is amazing! She is so lovable and cuddly and has settled in perfectly with our family and her fur family. We just adore her! Our other boy Bernie, now known as Salem is just as amazing. He brings us so much joy.“
Finnagan (aka Sherbert)
Adopted on January 14, 2022 by Kelly C.
“Finnagan is doing great! He’s a little trouble maker but has brought a lot of joy and excitement to our lives!“
Milo (aka Pooh Bear)
Adopted on December 17, 2021 by Bonnie B.
“Milo is doing great. He is a big boy. He is just beautiful, and we love him very much. His favorite toys are puffballs. He loves to drink from the faucet. I fee like I can’t say enough good things about him! “
Mango & Yoshi (aka Milo & Misha)
Adopted on July 28th, 2021 by Jeanette V.
“Mango is a mama’s boy and is very caring. He loves to groom all the other kitties. He knows his treat schedule and will meow for them when I’m late. He will wake me up for them if I sleep in. He is a very patient boy, when he wants to cuddle with me and I am busy doing something, he will sit and stare at me then meow for my attention. Yoshi is not your average Persian as he is very active. He loves to play with his toy balls and his electric wand toy. He zooms all around the house and cries for other cats when he can’t see them!”
